We have known from last week's episode that Vicki attacked Elena and Jeremy during a halloween party which forced Stefan to stake Vicki through the heart killing her. And we also know that Elena requested Stefan to erase the incident from Jeremy's memory, but it was Damon who volunteered to do it.
